Primary Research Interview
In this video, I interview Mrs. Hayes about her experiences as a teacher. She talks about how she balances lesson planning with supporting students individually and how she adapts her teaching to meet different learning styles. One quote that stood out to me was: “Those Ah-ha moments make it worth it, where they're like Ohhhhh Mrs. Hayes I get it now!"
During my observation, I noticed how Mrs. Hayes engages students in group activities while also checking in with individuals who need extra support. What really stood out was her ability to keep the class focused and motivated while making learning enjoyable and interactive.
Watching and speaking with Mrs. Hayes taught me that teaching requires patience, creativity, and constant problem-solving. It also changed how I view teachers’ roles because I realized how much effort goes into making every student feel supported and included. This primary research helped me connect personal experiences to broader ideas about the teaching profession and showed me the real impact educators have on their students’ growth.
